Winter CAMPS
Join us for a two-day backcountry camping and ski touring adventure in the Hotham backcountry near Derrick Hut. This Youth Camp is designed to introduce beginner participants to alpine travel, snow camping, and ski touring in a safe and supportive environment.
This is a green level tour as part of the Uptrack, created for those progressing into backcountry travel. No prior backcountry experience is required, but basic resort skiing ability is recommended.
A pre-trip Zoom meeting will cover gear, packing, expectations, and conditions. Participants must supply their own touring gear, camping equipment, and food, with a limited number of tents available to borrow. Please click “Find Out More” to download the full gear list and trip details.

Join us for a two-day backcountry camping and ski touring adventure through the iconic alpine terrain of Mount Feathertop. This trip is designed for levels Blue to Black skiers and splitboarders. Please review the Uptrack to ensure the trip matches your fitness and experience level.
Participants will need to supply their own touring gear, camping equipment, and food. The trip focuses on gaining hands-on experience in backcountry camping, mountain travel, and ski touring while exploring some of the biggest terrain Victoria has to offer.
